Edmonton Oilers AHL captain, Brad Malone, plans to retire from professional hockey at the end of the 2023-2024 regular season.

Longtime Bakersfield Condor captain, Brad Malone, has been in the Oilers system for seven seasons and spent four of them serving as the Captain and the other three serving as an assistant captain to the team.

The forward has spent the other five years of his career as members of the Colorado Avalanche, and the Carolina Hurricanes. Malone played his best NHL hockey with the Carolina Hurricanes where he posted 15 points in 65 games. In the AHL, Malone had his best statistical season just two seasons ago with the Bakersfield Condors, as in 54 games he potted 14 goals and 39 points.

Malone looks to end his career with a playoff run in the Calder Cup Playoffs, and hopefully capping off a great career with some hardware.
