6'8 Rookie Ejected For A Nasty Hit

During tonight's New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils game chaos broke loose when rookie forward Matt Rempe laid a massive hit on a Devils forward. Rempe is known for being a physical enforcer led with his elbow and injured Devils Nathan Bastian.

With such an aggressive and violent-looking hit Rempe was ejected from the game. Rempe was on his first shift of the game and only ended up logging 10 seconds of ice time.

The hit will likely be reviewed by the Department of Player Safety and could lead to further discipline for Rempe.
