Jaromir Jagr scores a goal at the age of 52 in the Czech first division

Few hockey players are able to find success after the age of 40, but clearly, Jaromir Jagr is the exception to the rule.

Indeed, the former NHL star, now 52 years old, is still playing at a professional level, currently playing for the Kladno Knights in the Czech first division. While many observers thought it was time for Jaromir Jagr to hang up his skates, the forward once again proved that he can still produce offensively, despite his age.

Having started his 37th season in professional hockey earlier this week, Jaromir Jagr recorded an assist in his team's first game. He also wasted no time finding the back of the net, scoring his first goal of the season this afternoon.

Honestly, it's simply astounding to see Jaromir Jagr still so dominant at the age of 52. It's undeniable proof of his incredible talent, as he is and always will be one of the greatest players to have ever played in the Bettman era.

Unfortunately for those hoping to see him play a few more seasons, Jaromir Jagr's agent recently announced that the forward, originally from Kladno, Czechia, will retire at the end of the 2024-2025 season.

Nevertheless, the famous number 68 can be extremely proud of everything he has accomplished since his professional debut.

After all, Jaromir Jagr has amassed an impressive total of 766 goals and 1,155 assists (1,921 points) in 1,733 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Dallas Stars, Boston Bruins, New Jersey Devils, Florida Panthers, and Calgary Flames.

It's also worth noting that he currently ranks second in all-time NHL points, behind Wayne Gretzky!
