Flyers head coach John Tortorella stormed out of his post-game press conference last night after the Flyers lost to the Florida Panthers 4-1, despite being the better team. <h3>Flyers fall 4-1 to Florida Panthers</h3> <a href='https://www.nhl.com/news/florida-panthers-philadelphia-flyers-game-recap-march-24' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>The Philadelphia Flyers lost 4-1 last night to the Florida panthers. </a> The loss came as Flyers goalie Felix Sandstrom gave up three goals on just 14 shots faced. <a href='https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/39803492/sam-reinhart-reaches-50-goals-florida-panthers-victory' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Panthers forward Sam Reinhart scored twice to hit 50 goals, joining Pavel Bure as the only other Panther to have a 50 goal season. </a> <q>Sam Reinhart becomes second Panther ever to score 50 in a season (Pavel Bure)</q> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/FriedgeHNIC/status/1772059212249481639'> </a></blockquote></div> <q>HE'S GOT IT! 😼 Sam Reinhart is a 50-goal scorer!</q> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/NHL/status/1772058892211528135'> </a></blockquote></div> Oddly enough, Reinhart hit the mark on the same night as Oilers winger Zach Hyman, who hit 50 goals on the season earlier in the night against the Ottawa Senators. <q>50 for Zach Hyman</q> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/worldhockeyrpt/status/1772039086154342758'> </a></blockquote></div> <q>Hyman hits 50! 🚨 For the first time in his NHL career, @ZachHyman has reached the 50-goal plateau!</q> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/NHL/status/1772038583685140976'> </a></blockquote></div> Flyers goaltender Felix Sandstrom on the other hand, did not have such a great night. <h3>John Tortorella leaves post-game presser without answering any questions</h3> After the game, Tortorella came to the podium to address the media as usual. He took one question which was about Flyers netminder Felix Sandstrom. The coach shrugged his shoulders with a stern expression on his face then walked out less than a minute into the affair. Sandstrom faced just 14 shots last night, letting three get by him. <q>Felix Sandstrom finally broke Torts #LetsGoFlyers | #NHL</q> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/MissinCurfew/status/1772075149627695317'> </a></blockquote></div> The Flyers netminder now has a .827 save percentage in five games with the Flyers this season. He is clearly not an NHL caliber goalie. <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/FlaPanthers/status/1772037218011336959'> </a></blockquote></div> It might be a good thing Tortorella left the press conference early. <a href='https://www.hockeypatrol.com/nhl-team/philadelphia-flyers/nhl-drops-the-hammer-on-john-tortorella' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Given how angry the Flyers coach was, he might have said something that would get him suspended again. </a> He knows though that his team outplayed their competition. Given the tight playoff race they're in, they cannot afford to drop games where they are the better team. At this point it looks like the race for the 3rd spot in the Metro division will be must-watch television as it could come to the very last day of the season.
