There's been a lot of trade rumors surrounding Marc-Andre Fleury's future with the Minnesota Wild. The team has struggled all season and are currently 6th in their division. As they hope to make a push for the playoffs, Fleury revealed where he wants to end the season.
Marc-André Fleury Reveals that he Wants to Remain With the Wild for the Season
In a conversation with Joe Smith, Fleury expressed his desire to remain in Minnesota, with the intention of helping them reach the playoffs.
"If we were last in the conference, maybe it'd be a little bit different. But this is my team. We've been battling together, right? I take pride in winning with this team. I want us to make the playoffs. That's my first priority. I think being in the hunt, it's fun, it's challenging. And I want to be here and see this team make the playoffs."
The Wild are currently just two points away from a wildcard playoff spot. Lately, the team has been playing well, getting a 7-2-1 record in their last ten games.
If they keep that momentum, they'll definitely be a team to follow in the coming months, with the trade deadline, and going into the playoffs.
