According to multiple reports this evening NHL analyst and personality Paul Bissonnette is in the hospital after an altercation in an Arizona restaurant. Reports from Scottsdale, Arizona tonight have confirmed that well-known NHL analyst for TNT Paul Bissonnette has ended up in the hospital after an altercation in a restaurant. According to those reports, six men became rowdy in the restaurant and began to harass the staff. Paul Bissonnette tried to step in to help manage the conflict between the restaurant management and the six men. Ultimately it led to a situation where Paul Bissonnette had to defend himself against six assailants. There was an altercation inside the restaurant with six adult men and the management. Reportedly, Paul Bissonnette tried to help management calm the men and get them to leave. The situation escalated to the men assaulting Paul Bissonnette both inside and outside of the restaurant, Scottsdale Police Sgt. Allison Sempsis said As a result of the altercation, Paul Bissonnette was transported to a local hospital to be evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries. As for Bissonnette's injuries, Scottsdale Police wouldn't detail the severity, but say they're not believed to be life-threatening.
