Referee goes after a player who hit him during Russian league game

A new clip has surfaced from a KHL game showing a referee attempting to fight a player.

This afternoon a clip has gone viral on Instagram showing a game between Meteor and GPGR in the KHL. The clip shows a referee making a hooking call. After he makes the call a player comes up and shoves the referee to the ground. The referee gets up takes his helmet off and immediately tries to fight the player.

All of the players then come in from both teams and join the fight. This means the other referees need to come in and break it up. Eventually, all the fighting was stopped and penalties were handed out. If this situation were to happen in the NHL one has to wonder how long both the player and referee would be suspended.

Due to it being in Russia a suspension for this sort of action is less expected. But what do you think would you have suspended the player and the referee?
