The Anaheim Ducks have made Frank Vatrano available to all teams by placing him on the trade block. The New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning are interested. The Rangers have been engaging with the Ducks in trade talks regarding Vatrano and Trevor Zegras for quite some time now. There were also reports that the Rangers did submit a trade offer to the Ducks for Zegras and draft picks, where they would have sent Filip Chytil, Adam Sykora and Kappo Kakko in return. #NYR and #FlyTogether have stayed engaged with trade talks involving both Zegras and Vatrano. There has been a confirmed offer of Chytil, Kakko, and Sykora for Zegras and pick(s). Only reason this hasn't gone through yet is because of the amount of interest ducks have gotten.

On the other side, the Ducks and Lightning engaged in talks regarding Vatrano, and talks have now been halted due to issues around cost of acquiring. The Ducks are in no rush to trade players and have been really scouring the market to see what the maximum amount of return value they can get for their players is. #Bolts and #FlyTogether talks have stalled on a potential Vatrano trade. Ducks want more than Perbix and picks for the winger. Opens up possibilities for #Isles #Canes #Sabres #LGRW #NJDevils and #NYR. Anaheim really taking their time assessing the value of their assets. #NHL

Tampa bay has quite some cap space still available, which makes it very possible for them to add Vatrano's $3.65 million salary to their cap. The Rangers also have $5.1 million in cap space. Regardless how this plays out, Vatrano had a fantastic year last season, putting up 60 points, 37 of which were goals. Many teams would love to have his scoring power.
