The Columbus Blue Jackets waited just one season to move on from Pascal Vincent, and now, they're eyeing a very intriguing replacement. From all reports, the future is bright with the Columbus Blue Jackets, who have stockpiled some talented prospects, but in the present, things haven't gone well. The team ended 2023-24 sitting last place in the Metropolitan Division, and with one of their top stars Patrik Laine wanting out, the 2024-25 season may not be much better. Over 133 games with Edmonton, Woodcroft put together a record of 79-41-13, and while he wouldn't have a Connor McDavid on this roster, he deserves another shot in the NHL, with this job seemingly suiting him perfectly.
