Bruce Boudreau reveals what the Oilers need to do to be back in the series

"Well, it's pretty easy for me to outline the blueprint: we need to change a few things. First of all, they have to shoot more and get pucks inside. They've got to win the one-on-one battles. I know this all sounds almost archaic, as if we talked about this in the sixties, seventies, and eighties, but ultimately, this is what you have to do: win those one-on-one battles, get to the front of the net, and shoot pucks.

It sounds easier than it actually is, but that's what they've got to do. If you look at what they've done, they had the fewest shots of any team in the finals after two periods in the last game�they had ten shots against in their last series, game six against Dallas. They've got to get to the puck and shoot it. They're trying to be too cute, too fancy. We talk about this all the time: Don't be cute. Shoot the puck at the net, get to the net, win the battles, and that's the blueprint for their success.

I think if they want to succeed in this series, that's what they need to do."
