Connor McDavid had an incredible Stanley Cup Playoffs last year, and now he's addressed the situation involving the Conn Smythe Trophy. Last season, Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers fell just one game short of clinching their first Stanley Cup since way back in 1990, losing a tight Game 7 on the road against the Florida Panthers. One of the main talking points coming out of that game was Connor McDavid, as the Oilers captain would ultimately be honoured with the Conn Smythe Trophy for playoff MVP, but after being announced as the winner, he was nowhere to be seen. Since that point, McDavid has revealed there was no way he was leaving his heartbroken Oilers locker room to accept an award, and now he's opened up on the situation a little more.
