The Edmonton Oilers' captain Connor McDavid returned to practice today with a regular jersey. McDavid missed the Oilers' last three games with a lower-body injury and could return tonight, as the Sharks will be in Edmonton. He was back on the ice, with a regular, full contact jersey, at the morning skate: Connor McDavid is on the ice and in a regular practice jerseyfull morning skate today

According to Jason Gregor, McDavid shouldn't play all of the three remaining games of the season, but it could change if the team gets the chance of finishing in the first place, which could happen on Thursday. Expect McDavid to play tonight. I'd be surprised if he plays all three games this week, but if they have chance at first place on Thursday you never know...

With a lot on the line, McDavid will surely make his way back on the lineup even if he's not back at 100%. McDavid could score his 100th assist of the season and we bet that he absolutely wants to reach that impressive mark. More to come.
