While the team would ultimately fall short on the ice, he's already shown that there's more to life than hockey with the incredible announcement on social media. This off-season, Draisaitl has become eligible for a major extension in Edmonton too, and if he can ink a deal that makes him the games highest paid player and follows it up with a Stanley Cup in 2025, it's safe to say that Drasiatil will certainly be living his best life.
