The Edmonton Oilers front office has been on fire ever since losing in the Stanley Cup Finals, and now they've made another solid move with Raphael Savoie. While the Edmonton Oilers will be chasing another Stanley Cup Finals appearance in 2024/25, the team still have a very bright future ahead, and after acquiring Matthew Savoie recently, they've locked up another bright piece of their future. WELCOME BACK RAPH 👋 The #Oilers have re-signed forward Raphael Lavoie to a one-year, two-way contract with an AAV of $775 K.

According to a social media post from the team, they have inked Raphael Lavoie to a one-year, two-way extension, with the 23-year old forward providing fantastic organizational depth. Lavoie made his NHL debut in 2023/24, playing in seven games and recording no points, but for the Bakersfield Condors, he tallied an impressive 50 points in 66 games, showing he has a bright future. It's unclear where he fits within the organization in 2024/25, but if injuries strike, he will no doubt be a good, cheap option to turn too if they need the depth.
