Fight breaks out between fans and law enforcement after Oilers game

Last night after the Edmonton Oilers lost to the Dallas Stars a wild scene broke out when several Oilers fans tried to fight police officers.

The Edmonton Oilers are in a heated series with the Dallas Stars. Last night they were looking to put a 2-0 stranglehold on the series. However, a third-period push from the Stars sent them home with the victory on a game-winning goal from Mason Marchment.

After the game, several Oilers fans likely leaving a watch party found themselves in a predicament. As they were walking the streets a fight broke out. Eventually, law enforcement from the Edmonton Police Department got involved and attempted to break up the fights but ended up in a fight themselves.

Reports have not confirmed the fate of these fighting fans after they look to be arrested. Their team the Edmonton Oilers have a challenge in front of them now as they head back home tied 1-1 in the Western Conference Finals will a chance to control the series with a pair of wins in front of their passionate fans.

Game 3 will be Monday at 8:30 pm Eastern and we will get to see if the Oilers can take the passion from their fans and turn it into on-ice success.
