Evander Kane is in danger of missing game one of the Edmonton Oilers Stanley Cup chase, and now an insider has revealed the details of the entire situation. The Edmonton Oilers have lofty expectations ahead of the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs, but to achieve them, they'll need their entire team healthy. That is unfortunately already in jeopardy however, as Evander Kane is reportedly questionable for game one against the Los Angeles Kings. Sports hernia for Evander Kane. Hes not sure if he will play game 1 for @EdmontonOilers vs @LAKings

Kane has been relatively healthy for the Oilers all season long, playing in 77 of their 82 regular season games, and while he may not be 100% at the moment, this is the time to attempt to push through injuries. With the major advantage up and down the lineup over the Los Angeles Kings, the Oilers may have the opportunity to rest Kane for a game or two if he's not completely ready to go, but given his competitive nature, it's unlikely that he'll want to sit. This season for the Oilers, Kane posted 24 goals in 77 games played, and like we've seen previously for Edmonton, they need their secondary stars to step up in the playoffs, so they will be hoping that he's good to go for game one.
