The Edmonton Oilers defeated the Vancouver Canucks 3-2 to even up the series, but it wasn't without some drama!

There's this considerable debate raging about whether Leon Draisaitl high-sticked the puck down before Evan Bouchard's game-winning goal. According to NHL rules, if he knocked it down above shoulder height, it could've led to a goal review. In the final minute, the league can initiate a review without the coaches having to challenge it.

Fans went wild on social media, arguing back and forth. Some claimed Draisaitl's stick was all good, while others blamed Canucks' coach Ric Tocchet for not throwing out the challenge flag.

Yet, let's not forget about the game itself. Leon Draisaitl and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins stepped up for the Oilers, while Calvin Pickard had a solid performance in his playoff debut, making 19 saves.

On the Canucks' side, Connor Garland and Dakota Joshua scored goals, but it just wasn't enough to seal the deal. Silovs put up a good fight with 27 saves, but it wasn't meant to be.

Now that the series is tied 2-2, it's anyone's game. Best of three from here on out, and things are heating up, especially with that bet between the city mayors.
