The Edmonton Oilers appear to have removed the names of Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway from the roster on the official website of the team, proving they're gone.

The Edmonton Oilers have a lot of eyes on them this week to see what they will do regarding the two offer sheets they received for Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg.

The offer sheet details are:

Dylan Holloway: two years, $2,290,457 cap hit
Philip Broberg: two years, $4,580,917 cap hit

If the team decides not to match these offer sheets, they will receive a third round pick for Dylan Holloway and a second round pick for Philip Broberg from the St. Louis Blues.

GM Stan Bowman of the Oilers has been busy over the last few days making some moves to free up cap space. He just traded Cody Ceci to the San Jose Sharks, and right before that acquired Vasili Podkolzin from the Vancouver Canucks.

The Oilers have until 9:30 AM Eastern on Tuesday to make a decision on the two offer sheets. No one knows for sure what their response will be, however something major has just leaked on the team's official website, which proves the direction they are planning to take.

When taking a look at the team's roster on their official website, Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg are missing. The interesting thing here is that both players were there just the day before, so it appears the Oilers recently made the decision that they wouldn't be matching the offer sheets, and someone internally went into the website to remove the names of the two players. This isn't just some error, as the chances that both players who received offer sheets having their names removed would be extremely rare. People within the organization know what's about to happen and took action to update the roster list.

Fans are excited to see what the final response of the team is going to be, and we are just one sleep away from that, despite the fact that many have a good idea what the outcome will be.

Philip Broberg was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers 8th overall in the first round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. He played 81 career games with the organization, having scored two goals and 11 assists.

Dylan Holloway was a first round pick in the 2020 NHL draft, and he was selected 14th overall by the team. He's played in 89 games with the Oilers, and scored nine goals and 18 points.
