Oilers organization comments on Paul Coffey's possible return

The Edmonton Oilers have made headlines by bringing franchise legend Paul Coffey onto their coaching staff, a move that has proved highly successful. President Jeff Jackson recently expressed his desire for Coffey to continue his role during an appearance on the Bob McCowan Podcast.

Even Head Coach Knoblauch is eager for Coffey to return.

In addition to Coffey's potential return, Jackson mentioned plans to appoint a new General Manager within the next ten days, which might also shed light on Coffey's future with the team. Despite rumors of Coffey possibly returning to retirement, there is hope that he will stay on to complete the impactful work he started.
