Social media posts reveal behind the scenes look at Connor McDavid's wedding

Connor McDavid's wedding was a huge off-season event for the NHL this year, and after no cameras were allowed, we've now got a look at the big day.

Recently, it was leaked that Connor McDavid's highly anticipated wedding had a no camera's or cell phones allowed policy, revealing that the family will release the official photos when it's time. Now however, one social media user has given a surprising insight into what the day was like behind the scenes.

It's not surprising that hockey players weren't able to follow the rules, and while we are yet to see photos of McDavid and Kyle and the ceremony itself, the posts continued with a look at the groomsmen, fellow NHLers and some fantastic looks.

By all accounts thus far, the wedding was an incredible event, and that comes as no surprise given McDavid's stature in Edmonton and the NHL, but from these posts, it's clear everyone was looking fantastic and having a great time. That notion will only be further reinforced when official photos come out, with some speculation revealing that the wedding planner and events team sold the coverage rights of the night to a magazine.

Whatever happens, we wish the couple plenty of happiness moving forward, with the event thus far looking like a major success.
