Edmonton Oilers' Sam Carrick has been fined $2,213.54 for spearing Dmitry Kulikov of the Florida Panthers.

Carrick hit Kulikov between the legs, earning him a 2-minute penalty for slashing and a 10-minute misconduct. He was in the lineup in place of Corey Perry who was a healthy scratch and is will likely go back to the press box for Game 3.

Edmonton's Sam Carrick has been fined $2,213.54, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for slashing Florida's Dmitry Kulikov.
