The Edmonton Oilers have been rocked by two offer sheets this week, and now as a result, two of their veteran names are drawing interest on the trade market. Over the past week, many decisions that the Edmonton Oilers were waiting to make have now been thrust into the spotlight, and with offer sheets waiting to be answered for Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway, we may see plenty of movement over the next few days. In fact, Bruce Garrioch of PostMedia has now revealed that both Cody Ceci and Brett Kulak are receiving interest, and if the Oilers are to match one or both of the offer sheets, they'd need to make a deal as teams around the league are aware of the situation the team is now in.

Unsurprisingly though, those teams are primed and ready to take advantage of the Oilers in any trade discussion, with the salaries of Ceci ($3.25M) and Kulak ($2.75M) certainly not matching their current output. Garrioch reports that teams are asking for a first or second round pick to take on either of those contracts, and with the Oilers not having a pick in either of those rounds in 2025, the whole situation becomes a lot more difficult. Teams are certainly willing to wait to get the right deal on either Ceci or Kulak however, and if they can take on their salaries, getting a first or second round pick, even late in the round would be a big win for those teams, with the Oilers having to decide whether a move like this is worth it or not.
