It appears that in some unfortunate news, Philadelphia Flyers forward Travis Konecny has had his house catch fire and burn down. Two people were injured.

Calls were placed to 911 just before midnight Tuesday night that a house was burning down. Firefighters quickly arrived and began working to put out the blaze. They did confirm no one was inside the home at the time of the fire, but that thick heavy smoke was pouring out of the second and third floor windows. Two people were injured, which were firefighters.

Reports began to surface that this house belonged to Philadelphia Flyers star Travis Konecny.

It took crews nearly an hour to get the fire under control, but not without those two firefighters suffering burns. Thankfully they did not require emergency transportation to the hospital.

The first and second floors have reportedly been badly damaged, and an investigation will begin to determine the source of the fire.
