In a recent interview, Julien BriseBois, general manager of the Tampa Bay Lightning opened up on the ongoing contract negotiations with Steven Stamkos. Stamkos has been the face of the Lightning for over 15 years. Now that the time has come to renew his contract, things seem to be a bit complicated. According to Julien BriseBois, who addressed the issue in an interview, they still haven't reach a deal that satisfies both camps, but they're confident it can happen before July 1.
