The Toronto Maple Leafs have some big time decisions to make in their forward group, and the latest trade proposal could fix plenty of those issues. Despite adding Chris Tanev, Anthony Stolarz, Alex Nylander and Oliver Ekman-Larsson this summer, the Toronto Maple Leafs still have question marks over this forward group, with Brad Treliving yet to give answers to them. At this point, Max Domi is pencilled in to be the 3C for this team in 2024/25, but with the potential of running it back on the top line, the team are certainly in the hunt for someone to fill that role. Now, a trade proposal from Heavy.com has unveiled the potential solution to their problems, with Toronto landing 25-year old budding star Morgan Frost for disgruntled forward Nick Robertson. Maple Leafs get: Morgan Frost Flyers get: Nick Robertson Calle Jarnkrok On paper, it looks like a deal that favours Toronto, given that Calle Jarnkrok has little trade value at this point, and given that Frost plays a much harder position at center, it would be a steal for the Maple Leafs. However, many see the ceiling of Robertson as just as high, if not higher than Frost, so if the Flyers value Robertson's upside, this is a deal that could happen.

Over the past two years, Frost has tallied a combined 87 points with Philadelphia, and at 25-years of age, he is continuing to grow and improve, and if the Maple Leafs could bring him on board, it would be a major win for depth in the team moving forward.
