Clayton Keller accidentaly leaked Utah HC's team name in a recent interview.

The Utah Hockey Club is set to start the first season in franchise history in a few weeks and the hype is off the charts.

Management made significant acquisitions this summer, with Mikhail Sergachev, John Marino and Ian Cole, which could bring the team to another level.

After the Coyotes spent years being the joke of the NHL, playing in a college-level arena for the past seasons, and being at the bottom of the rankings for years, the team is now in Utah and could be in a position to cause a surprise in the league next season.

Clayton Keller, who's about to start his eight full season in the League, will bring his experience into this new market and should play an important role for the new team.

However, in a recent interview, Keller maybe revealed a bit too much informations.

The player talked about the new team and said what should be the official team name for the 2025-26 season.

It was already confirmed that the team would be called Utah HC for their first campaign, as they take time to let the people vote for their favorite name, which will be made official after the season.

Keller said that it'll likely be called "Yeti", on NHL.com:

"It sounds like it's going to be the Yeti, but I don't know. We'll see what happens. Whatever they choose, I think it'll be a good one."

If nothing changes, the Utah Yeti should made their first appearance in a year, with a new logo as well.
