Tonight yet another report has come in regarding the Vancouver Canucks locker room saga and new information indicates the team could be willing to trade J.T. Miller.

The Vancouver Canucks controversy between teammates J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson continued yesterday when former Canuck Brad Richardson revealed how the issues started.

According to Richardson's testimony, things began due to Miller being too hard and demanding on Pettersson leading the young Canucks star to shut down.

Over the years since this initial incident, the Canucks had assumed that issues had been resolved between the two teammates but that now does not seem to be the case.

After Miller stepped away from the Canucks the reports of issues and fighting between the two resurfaced and have remained a story ever since.

Initially, the Canucks refused to admit there was an issue and then after acknowledging the problem were still committed to keeping both Miller and Pettersson in Vancouver long-term.

Insider Elliotte Friedman confirmed last month that the Canucks had no plans to trade either player.

Now a new report from NHL analyst Nick Kypreos and Elliotte Friedman himself has created some doubt around this plan indicating his sources have heard a trade could be coming.

Nick Kypreos indicates the Canucks are exploring trades involving J.T. Miller

In a new piece for The Toronto Star Kypreos addressed the issues going on in Vancouver and confirmed that things are still not improving leading to a lot of tension in the locker room amongst other teammates as well.

Due to the continued problems, Kypreos is hearing that the Canucks are starting to come around on the idea of trading one of the two stars and that they could look to take calls on J.T. Miller in the coming weeks.

It's sounding like the Vancouver Canucks are leaning toward a major roster change as it becomes clearer to management that the current roster - specifically feuding stars J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson - cannot co-exist. Don't be surprised if we start hearing the Canucks are willing to take calls on Miller

With this report, it reveals two things regarding the future of this feud between the Vancouver Canucks, J.T. Miller, and Elias Pettersson.

The first is that things are still not improving and it is nearing a problem level that is unsolvable for the Canucks without a trade.

The second and almost more crucial piece is that J.T. Miller, not Elias Pettersson, is expected to be the one traded if a trade is the ultimate solution.

To this point, there had been debate about which player the Canucks would choose to keep if they decided to separate the two stars.

Now, it seems that, at least according to Kypreos' sources, the player who will be staying around is Elias Pettersson.

In addition to the report from Kypreos, Elliotte Friedman also confirmed that the Canucks have begun taking calls on both players and will continue listening to offers.

As has been the case with this story over the last month things continue to develop and as new details come in regarding the future of both Miller and Pettersson in Vancouver we will pass along the latest news.
