After acquiring both Noah Hanifin and Tomas Hertl at the trade deadline, the latter is now officially ready to make his Golden Knights debut.

The Vegas Golden Knights haven't exactly been flying into the Stanley Cup Playoffs this season, but now, they are reportedly getting a major boost with the season winding down. According to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, Tomas Hertl, a top acquisition at the trade deadline is expected to make his debut against the Vancouver Canucks, giving him exactly six games to get into shape before the post-season arrives.

"Tomas Hertl is expected to make his #VegasBorn debut tonight against Vancouver; coach Bruce Cassidy will confirm later today. The Knights have 6 games left in the regular-season." Pagnotta said.

The 30-year old was a shock acquisition by Vegas at the very last minute, and after surgery on his knee in January, he's been ramping up for a return in recent weeks. In 48 games for the struggling Sharks this season, Hertl amassed a solid 15 goals and 19 assists for 34 points, and if he can be anywhere near that level for Vegas alongside the impending return of both Jack Eichel and Mark Stone, this team has a good chance of repeating as Stanley Cup Champions in 2023-24.
