An appalling scene in Russia, when a 42 year old player, Nikolai Rizin, violently hit a referee in the face with his stick, and then hit him with his skate once on the floor. All for a penalty he didn't agree with. <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/DannyWArmstrong/status/1594151326014906368?t=HLy6nP7RTcqhm7-JLfxLig&s=19'> </a></blockquote></div> This was the second time Rizin had been banned in this way. In 2016, he slammed a referee's head against the glass window and had been playing under a different name ever since. <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/HockeyNewsHub/status/1594321410603859975?t=gEfOzkRip_bP5SmnEaGaKw&s=19'> </a></blockquote></div> It was his teammates and opponents who had to kick him out of there, otherwise there's no telling when he would have stopped. Sick bastard!
