The Habs have to go through another tough season this year, but you have to remember that this is a rebuilding team and every loss gives the club hope for a very high selection in the next draft. Since last year, the CH has begun a youthful turn with its organization, as many young players have made their appearance in the team's lineup. With the incredible performances of some of them this year, the future seems particularly promising. As proof that the franchise has done a good job in the last few years, one of the experts on prospects at The Athletic, Corey Pronman, released his ranking of the best young players under 23 years old today, and the least we can say is that the Tricolore is very well represented. Here are the Habs player rankings: 9th: Cole Caufield 16th: Juraj Slafkovsky 38th: Kirby Dach 39th: Kaiden Guhle 79th: Justin Barron 120th: Joshua Roy 126th: Owen Beck 150th: Sean Farrell Still, it's downright impressive and exciting to see no less than eight prospects from the organization among a list like this. Add to that the fact that high quality prospects like Filip Mesar, Logan Mailloux and Lane Hutson, were not named in this ranking, but are young players in whom the organization has high hopes. In addition, let's not forget that the Habs will also have the opportunity to add at least two first round picks in the next draft, in what promises to be an extremely talented crop. The future is bright in Montreal, that's for sure!
