As you probably already know, it's been making headlines all over social media, that Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kristopher Letang suffered a stroke last Monday. However, there is a development in this case and it is an absolutely spectacular development. We learned today from Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan that Letang was already back on the ice this morning at the team's practice facility. Obviously, it was just a light skate, but it's still incredible when no one believes it's a major turnaround. It also gives an idea of the determination of the Quebecer to return to the game as soon as possible. Sullivan even added the amazing detail that the team management was forced to prevent him from practicing with his teammates and would have ordered him to rest after this major incident. This was unfortunately the second time Letang had suffered a stroke. It happened in 2014 last time and he missed two months of activity before returning to the game, but all indications are that he won't wait as long this time. Fortunately, the Penguins' management took the time to mention yesterday that the impact was less than last time and that his career was not threatened in any way. It must be said that no one expected Letang to return to the ice so soon!

Credit : HabsolumentFan
