The Senators Have Until 5PM To Make A Difficult Decision Regarding a Dynamic Young Player

The Ottawa Senators have until 5:00 p.m. today to come to an agreement with forward Alex Formenton, without which he will not be able to play in the NHL this season.

Formenton, who is only 23 years old, has been a restricted free agent since July. He is the only restricted free agent who is still without a contract this season.

In 109 NHL games, Formenton has 39 points, including 23 goals. The latter was also part of the controversial 2018 Team Canada edition, where he had four points in seven games.
