Earlier today, The Philadelphia Flyers, along with the Los Angeles Kings and the Columbus Blues Jackets, have surprised the hockey world by announcing a major three-way trade involving Cal Petersen and Ivan Provorov.

"Trade yet to be complete (will have in full when they do) but here is what we know so far:

Ivan Provorov PHI ➡️ CBJ (LA Kings retain 30%)

Sean Walker LAK ➡️ PHI

Cal Petersen LAK ➡️ PHI

*More moving pieces to come"

Here is the full trade:

Deal looks like:

CBJ receives:
Ivan Provorov (PHI)➡️ (CBJ)

PHI receives:
Cal Peterson (LAK) ➡️ (PHI)
Sean Walker (LAK) ➡️ (PHI)
Helge Grans (LAK) ➡️ (PHI)
2023 1st Rd Pick (22nd overall)
2023 2nd Rd Pick (LAK pick)

LAK:
Retains 30% of Provorov
Shed Peterson's Contract

But the Flyers aren't done, they've just traded one of their most important players.

The Flyers Trade Hart

A trade is in the works for Carter Hart, according to David Pagnotta.

"The Flyers are also working in a trade involving goalie Carter Hart. It's not at the finish line, like the Provorov deal, but Philly is actively on it, as
@ADiMarco25
has also reported."

Busy day for Daniel Briere and the Flyers!
