Chantal Machabée speaks about the next captain and when he will be appointed

Chantal Machabée was interviewed by Mario Langlois last night on 98.5 FM. As usual, Chantal was very generous, giving more than an hour of her time for the interview. She revealed some information about the next captain and when he will be named.

« I think the players are going to be involved in that process. I have a feeling that's what it's going to be. My feeling is that it will wait a little longer. - Chantal Machabée

This means that rumours that the captain will be named at the team's annual golf tournament next Monday are unfounded and will most likely happen later.

According to the VP Communications, no candidate has been chosen yet, and it is a three-way race. However, she assures that Kent Hughes' plan remains the same, to name a captain before the start of the 2022-23 season.
