Connor Bedard in Montreal: Trade proposal surfaces and not everyone is happy

The Connor Bedard lottery draw will take place on May 8th. Obviously, all teams want to have the first pick in the draft, either through the lottery or through a transaction.

For the sake of argument, BPM Sports started the debate as to whether fans would be willing to trade Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield to the team that will have the honour of selecting in the first round of the upcoming draft.

With over 5000 votes at the time of writing, 41% of fans would make the trade.

Imagine losing the captain and his best sidekick, for an exceptional player, but who hasn't played a single second in the NHL. Bedard's arrival is very tempting, but it is also understandable why the majority vote no.
