The Edmonton Oilers came into this season with so much hope, but after another big time loss, their captain has seemingly had enough.

Connor McDavid takes a shot at the goaltending

This time it came against the Vancouver Canucks, with the team being blown out 6-2 to take their record to 2-8-1 on the season, and it's clear their captain is frustrated.

No one's in here is saying, 'We've got to turn more pucks over, or give up more two-on-ones and three-on-twos.' But for whatever reason, they're going in. They're going in off us, they're going in every which way.

This comment came after the team suffered yet another brutal loss in which they at one point out shot the Canucks 19-4, only to be down 2-1 on the scoreboard, and while there's other problems with this team, the two guys in net just haven't helped at all.

A lost season in Edmonton before December?

During this one, the frustrations boiled over, with both McDavid and Draisaitl clearly losing it and getting physical, something they rarely do in order to spark some life into the team.

Then, their Head Coach Jay Woodcroft was ejected in what could be the game that marks the end of their season, but if McDavid calling out his goaltenders can get either Stuart Skinner or Jack Campbell to at least average on the season, there could still be some hope left.
