Daniel Brière made an interesting statement about Juraj Slafkovsky

As you know, Daniel Brière has officially become the general manager of the Philadelphia Flyers. The interim position is over, and his appointment will do this organization a world of good.

Fresh off the job, Briere spoke with the TVA Sports team and admitted that Juraj Slafkovsky was high on their list as well. Without confirming that he would have been the Flyers' number one pick, he implied that he would have been their selection if he had slipped to number five.

This is a very nice statement towards the Slovak, who has not had an easy year in the NHL. Nevertheless, we must be patient with him. Slaf has all the assets to progress well in the NHL.
