The Montreal Canadiens won a hard fought victory yesterday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Martin St-Louis' team took advantage of their opponents' weak goaltending to overcome an early deficit and score their first four goals on only six shots. They were able to hold off the Penguins and Samuel Montembeault was solid to keep his team in the game as they dominated 43-22 in shots on goal. After a seven game losing streak, we can imagine that it's probably a huge relief for the players to finally get the weight off their shoulders in the locker room.
