Eric Engels predicts two trades for the Habs this summer

The credibility of Sportsnet reporter Eric Engels is well established. The man has good contacts and very good sources in the hockey world.

In all humility, Engels predicted two trades that Kent Hughes could make during the summer, saying that he is reasonably confident of his move.

According to him, Mike Hoffman will jump ship. Hughes may have to give away a fourth round pick, or even keep 1.5 million of his salary.

The second is Joel Edmundson. With youngsters Arber Xhekaj, Kaiden Guhle, Jordan Harris, Johnathan Kovacevic, Justin Barron and even Logan Mailloux, plus David Savard and Michael Matheson, there is no room for number 44. He has a very good contract with only one year left on it and could help a team next year.
