Auston Matthews has been off to a historic start to the season. Through 11 games with the Leafs he has not one, not two, but three hat tricks, 11 goals, and 15 points. Despite this, the Leafs are just 5-4-2 and have a goal differential of -1. They now sit 4th in a strong Atlantic division, behind the Bruins, Red Wings, and Lightning. <h2>Matthews Scores 3rd Hat Trick</h2> Matthews scored his third hat trick of the season tonight. With three hat tricks in 11 games, he is technically on pace for 22 hat tricks this year.
