Female Leafs Fan Throws Bra On Ice Following Matthews' Hat Trick

Auston Matthews has been off to a historic start to the season. Through 11 games with the Leafs he has not one, not two, but three hat tricks, 11 goals, and 15 points. Despite this, the Leafs are just 5-4-2 and have a goal differential of -1. They now sit 4th in a strong Atlantic division, behind the Bruins, Red Wings, and Lightning.

Matthews Scores 3rd Hat Trick

Matthews scored his third hat trick of the season tonight. With three hat tricks in 11 games, he is technically on pace for 22 hat tricks this year. While that surely is not going to happen, it seems like 9 or 10 might not be completely out of the question.

Leafs Fan Gets Over Excited By Matthews' Feat

Leafs fans celebrated Matthews' third goal with the traditional celebration for a hat trick, throwing their hats on the ice. One fan decided to take things a step further though as she threw her bra on the ice in lieu of a hat.

Perhaps its a good thing the Leafs lost this one. Who knows what would have been thrown on the ice next if they actually won. It is very Leafs for the team to lose in a game that Matthews shines in though. Anyone remember his NHL debut?
