At the last trade deadline, Kent Hughes acquired William Lagesson, a conditional second-round pick in 2022 and a seventh-round pick in 2024 for Brett Kulak. The former Canadiens number 77 has done well since arriving in Edmonton, so much so that he earned a four season contract with the Oilers this summer.
