Kent Hughes just signed a college forward for the Laval Rocket with a professional tryout

The general manager of the Montreal Canadiens and Laval Rocket, Kent Hughes, has just announced that he has granted a professional tryout to forward Nolan Yaremko.

Yaremko is 24 years old and has 45 points in 28 games with Mount Royal University in the CWUAA.

In his career, the 6-foot-1 forward has just five professional games, all with the Stockton Heat, the Calgary Flames' former club-school, in 2018-19.
