We just got a long-awaited update on some of the Tricolore's injuries, involving the cases of Brendan Gallagher and Arber Xhekaj. Number 11 has removed his walking boot, so his foot injury is on the mend and he may eventually be able to put on skates again. Justin Barron and Kaiden Guhle, meanwhile, were both absent from morning practice and are considered day-to-day. The Atheltic's Marc-Antoine Godin suspects a concussion for Barron. For his part, as reported earlier, Cole Caufield is no longer wearing a brace on his shoulder. This is not the case for Arber Xhekaj, who had surgery last week. Unfortunately, there is still no news on the controversial Sean Monahan case. <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/MAGodin/status/1633154842343403539?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1633154842343403539%7Ctwgr%5E3eed0d84a18ec419d8455918ac6e30b21ace7c35%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.fanadiens.com%2FCanadien-nouvelles-de-dernieres-minutes-sur-le-dossier-complique-de-Brendan-Gallagher-et-sur-Arber-Xhekaj-215525'> </a></blockquote></div> Credit: <a href='https://www.fanadiens.com/equipe-lnh/canadiens-de-montreal/Canadien-nouvelles-de-dernieres-minutes-sur-le-dossier-complique-de-Brendan-Gallagher-et-sur-Arber-Xhekaj' class='link_marker' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Fanadians.com</a>
