Following his fight with Vincent Desharnais of the Edmonton Oilers last year, Arber Xhekaj underwent shoulder surgery and missed the rest of the season.

After his operation, the main man admitted he was going to be more selective about fighting in future, but the Canadiens' direct rivals decided otherwise this summer.

The Maple Leafs signed Ryan Reaves, the Senators Zach McEwen and the Bruins Milan Lucic. Observer Phylippe Bernard has come up with an interesting idea that could be one of Kent Hughes' plans.

"Given that the Atlantic Division has strengthened and that Kent Hughes tends to acquire players he's worked with before, I wonder if he's interested in a trade for Mathieu Olivier."

Indeed, Mathieu Olivier is a former Hughes player and acquiring him would greatly benefit the CH. He's one of the few players to have been solid in front of Xhekaj during their fight last year.
