We're at a time of year when rumours are rife. There's not much action and all the teams are looking to improve their lot. Of those rumors, one that makes a lot of sense involves the Habs. Given the lack of goaltending success in recent years at the draft, it wouldn't be surprising to see Kent Hughes try to acquire a goaltender of the future. Yaroslav Askarov is stuck behind Juuse Saros in Nashville and is reportedly of interest to several NHL teams, including the Canadiens. But that could change. According to David Pagnotta, the Kings and Predators discussed a deal involving Juuse Saros during the season.
