The 26-year old is often considered very likeable and a great role model on and off the ice, so if this story is true, it would be very disappointing for fans of the team, but at this point, there may be much more to the story. In 2023-24, Marner has excelled on the ice once again, posting 14 goals and 38 points in 33 games played, and continues to be a key part of the Leafs as a player and a leader, so we will continue to monitor this story to see if more evidence or comments come to light.
