MAJOR: Max Domi makes huge statement about Canadiens fans to Toronto journalists

Max Domi has signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Obviously, the forward is already very popular, having grown up in the area with his father, Tie, who played there.

When he played in Montreal, Max made a big statement that displeased Leafs fans.

"In 2019, when he was with the Habs, Domi said there's nothing better than the atmosphere in Montreal and the Canadiens fans.

He added that Montreal fans were on a whole other level above Toronto fans, which caused an uproar among Maple Leafs fans and media at the time."

Now that he's in the enemy camp, Domi has a lot to answer for. However, he railed against Montreal, the city and its fans.

It takes some nerve to say that in front of Maple Leafs reporters and the entire population of Toronto. What's worse is that he still hasn't said anything good about Leafs fans, while he continues to praise CH fans!
