The Habs are a great young team, and they'll only get better with experience. The core of young players is complemented by good veterans who are there to help pave the way for future years. This is quite a change from the last few decades, when the CH patched with veterans, without taking the time to properly train its young players. In fact, a photo quickly made the rounds on the web, showing just how active Kent Hughes has been, and how different the Habs look since the Stanley Cup Final in 2021. In fact, only Jake Allen, Brendan Gallagher, Joel Armia, Josh Anderson, Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki are still active with the CH, which is quite a statement when you consider that Kent Hughes has been in charge for less than two years. Here's the photo in question: <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/PeteAlper/status/1705675660511879549?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1705675660511879549%7Ctwgr%5E6d4f384aa17b4292e68fe61e3325e930df6e9cba%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.habsetlnh.com%2Fcanadiens-de-montreal%2FGros-echanges-conclus-par-Kent-Hughes-et-le-Canadien-Jake-Allen-Joel-Armia-Brendan-Gallagher-Josh-Anderson-Caufield-et-Suzuki-sont-les-seuls-restants-des-series-2021'> </a></blockquote></div>
