For one of the few times this season, the Canadiens were booed at the Bell Centre last night. And you can understand why. Not only did the team get dominated from start to finish, but they just didn't show up. The effort wasn't at the same level as usual, and that's what the fans didn't like. Supporters understand rebuilding. In fact, they are much more supportive of rebuilding than many people thought. For years, we heard that it was impossible to rebuild in Montreal. That's not true. If it's done in the right way, it goes very well. I've been to the Bell Centre a few times this season and every time, the CH lost. Still, the fans were rocking the stands and everyone was having fun. But last night, there was a lot of booing. What did Martin St-Louis think? When asked at the press conference, he had this to say, quite simply: Bah, I agree - Martin St-Louis

We agree that it pretty much says it all. St. Louis often stands up for his players, and we can understand why. But yesterday, he agreed with the booing from the fans. And he also said that the CH had to finish the season in a better way than this. The message is out for the last 5 games.
