The final seconds of last night's game featuring the New York Islanders and the Nashville Predators was nothing short of amazing. With the game tied and looking like it would head to overtime, the Predators were able to score in the final seconds to win the game.

They weren't done there, though. The Predators were able to score again in the final second on an empty net, sealing the deal as the time wound down in front of the home crowd.

Islanders Leave Game Before Final Buzzer

The New York Islanders are being criticized for how they handled the final seconds of the game. As the final empty net goal was scored, the entire Islanders team left the bench to head to the dressing room. It's likely they thought the game was over, however, none of them returned to the bench for the final faceoff.

This is not a great look for the Islanders, as its common courtesy to at least stay on the bench until the final horn sounds. Even if they thought the game had ended, they could have made their way back to the bench, however, it didn't look like they even made an effort.
